Co-Founder
Robert Redford
Robert Redford was born in 1936 and is an ardent conservationist and environmentalist, an artist, businessman and a supporter of uncompromised creative expression. He received an Academy Award for his directorial debut ORDINARY PEOPLE (1980) and an honorary Academy Award celebrating his life's work (2001).
Redford received acclaim for his performance in ALL IS LOST (2013) and recently completed filming on Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (2014).
Ever passionate about independent filmmaking, Redford founded the Sundance Institute and highly regarded Sundance Film Festival, which are dedicated to the support and development of emerging screenwriters and directors, and to the national and international exhibition of new independent cinema.

Executive Producer
Laura Michalchyshyn
Laura Michalchyshyn is an Executive Producer at Sundance Productions, partnering with Robert Redford to develop and produce the company's slate of award-winning fiction and non-fiction programming.
Her credits at the company include the CNN documentary series Death Row Stories and Chicagoland, the 3D feature project Cathedrals of Culture, as well as The West and The March.
Across these projects she has championed bold, eccentric and entertaining storytelling — from drama to documentary — on broadcast television, cable and paid TV, digital platforms and social media.
